Overlapping elements of the architecture emulate forms of a seashell, rough to smooth edges, encapsulating and protective. The interior, nestled within this shell becomes a haven, efficient in size but functional with the use of space.
As such, the planning informs the design, inspired by the concepts of Japanese minimalism, to live with simplicity, the need for efficient and functional design is vital to the overall philosophy. With this notion, clever use of fresh soft whites and grey hues, with pluming curtains and vertical design elements, the design attempts to create a greater sense of space.
