Flinders, Mornington Peninsula

Horizon Pavilion

Dramatically nestled in the rugged cliffs off Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Horizon Pavilion is inspired by the raw beauty and tactility of its coastal outlook.  With panoramic views to the sea, the first-floor living spaces are a true hero of the project.  The kitchen island appears hewn from a block of foamy white marble.  Beyond, a broad dining area creates a luxurious entertaining space.  The master suite is conceived as a quiet retreat.  Natural stone saturates the bathing spaces, crafting an immersive spa-like experience.  Additional entertaining and lifestyle spaces, including a gym and sauna, wine room and kitchen, are thoughtfully combined on the lower level.  The wine room harnesses further depth and detail, with an elegant bar and tiered table of figured green marble surrounded by dark stained timber wine shelving.  Beyond, broad communal areas unfurl toward the pool and landscape, facilitating indoor/outdoor entertaining and offering wide-ranging elevated views across the bay.
