Mt Martha Outlook

Set amongst lush natural landscape and within a stone’s throw of the waters edge, the Mt Martha Outlook home reinvents the abandoned tennis court to create a reserved yet welcoming settling for its occupants.  The building form staggers the volumes in response to the site topography to maintain a horizontal connection with the landscape whilst reaching for the bay views.  The form is carved to create private moments and delightful surprises throughout the site.  Apertures and sliding doors are deployed to maintain a sense of connectivity between the living spaces and its stunning context.  Authentic, durable materials such as brick, concrete and stone blend effortlessly into the context to create a well-balanced and respectful design response.
