Mim Design is pleased to announce that Sarah Dowling has been appointed to the role of Practice Director and Emma Mahlook to Creative Director.  With a passion for residential design, space planning and furniture, experienced interior designer Sarah Dowling joined the studio as Practice Manager at the start of the year.  Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Sarah’s experience includes running her own independent studio as well as three years working on hotel interiors as part of the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment team who designed the original Crown Towers project.  In taking on the role of Practice Director, Sarah will be integral to the programming, business development, staff mentoring and future growth direction of the Mim Design studio.

Emma, who in 2012 joined Mim Design as an Interior Designer, following a six-year stint at another design studio, was promoted to Associate Designer later that year.  She has a wealth of experience designing interior environments for the retail, hospitality and residential sectors and is known for her exemplary management of client relationships.  Emma brings with her a wealth of experience specialising in retail, hospitality and high end residential sectors. Emma is known for her exemplary management of client relationships, creative and considered approach to design quality and management.
